Our art programs enable our studio artists to express themselves and improve their motor skills, dexterity, visual concepts and self-esteem.
DRAWING, PAINTING AND PRINTMAKING ARTS
Our artists produce colorful observations of the self and the environment in a variety of painting, drawing and printmaking media - all unhindered by convention.
Our collectible ceramic art includes animals, vases, bowls, totems, masks and other pieces for the home and garden. Works are fired in our in-house kilns.
WEAVING AND FIBER ARTS
Our original wearable and household art includes shawls, scarves, vests, handbags and tote bags, blankets, rugs, wall hangings and table linens.
MIXED MEDIA ARTS
Our mixed media artists work with everything from recycled canvas and furniture to your grandmother's old jewelry and buttons for decorating wood boxes. Found or donated treasures including glass, photographs and postcards, mirrors, frames and fun trinkets are used to create mobiles, wind chimes, wall hangings, greeting cards and other wonderful creations.
You can accent any room or office with handcrafted pieces that combine art and function. Choose from hardwood cutting boards, clipboards, CD racks, cabinets and picture frames. Outdoor art includes decorative birdhouses and feeders, planter boxes, and BBQ cabinets made of redwood or cedar.
Here the artists can let it all loose! This is an open stage. Artists get to sing, act out scenes, perform a solo song, stretch, dance and groove to old hits accompanied by acoustic guitar. They are encouraged to make up their own songs and play along on instruments such as drums, guitar, keyboard and maracas. When this group gets going, the whole building love to join in and sing along.
Commissions are welcomed on all art.
