Haley Smith
Artist's Statement:

Haley recreates images from the movies she watches.  She draws them all from memory with extreme flawlessness.

"I am nineteen years old and I live in Nevada City.  I started drawing when I was in Junior High school.  I enjoy drawing characters from movies.  Sometimes painting over my drawings brings them to life.  My work shows my ability for detail and perfection.
When drawing, I am pulled into the character as an actor is pulled into a part he is playing in a movie. At home, we call it “day dreaming.”
