Each year NCA enters artwork created by our disabled artists to be judged at the fair amongst other local talent. The pride and self esteem the artists gain from having their artwork judged in the same manor as any other artist is its own reward. Some have won awards, but those who don't still receive a ribbon for entering and they show those ribbons proudly. We like to take all the artists to the fairgrounds on disability day so they can see their art on display, ride the rides, and eat the good (but bad for you) food that lures us all back each year. It's a day for fun and games, which we all need once in a while.
