I have been attending NCA for 2 years. NCA is important to me because I like money. Being blind and being in a wheelchair is frustrating, but being at NCA has changed my attitude. The NCA program has helped me express myself. When I feel angry I can express myself and talk with Amy S. or Amee M. When I am in performing arts and singing it makes me happy and excited when we are jamming. Jan is a teacher who helps me with my art. We work on making collages because that is something of mine that has sold. The friends that I have at NCA are important especially when I need support. It feels good to have the support from my friends and the staff. Don't be scared to come here and see us do art. Our doors are open to the public and we want you to see how great our program is.Everyone here is a hard worker and I recommend you come to check us out. Maybe there will be something that catches your eye. Just remember, if you find something you want to buy you are helping us earn money.
